Feathers tickle my ears,
whispering sweet somethings
which only my ardent mind hears.
My lungs are arching like bird wings
in my chest; the weight of your words
pulls tight on my heartstrings.
Flittering about are those lovebirds
who spilled feathers on me
and pecked affections into my innards.
Around the fan I see wispy
wings coloring the air red,
showing off your love proudly.
